We are expanding our medical team!

We are now looking for an additional specialist in general medicine as we expand our medical group and work towards our and the National Board of Health and Welfare's goal of one doctor per 1100 patients! Capio Health Center Johannelund is a relatively centrally located health center in Linköping. We have about 30 employees and a stable listing of just over 8000 patients. Our patients represent the average in Linköping in terms of socioeconomic status and age.

Since February 2025, we have completely renovated and fresh premises that are well adapted for our operations. During the renovation, we also invested in a new technology park. We are already a well-staffed health center that, thanks to a joint and responsible financial effort, has the opportunity to grow. You will become our sixth specialist doctor in addition to our three ST doctors and 1-2 AT/under doctors.

Our approach is that you, as the patient-responsible doctor (PAL), are best able to assess and prioritize when and how you will meet your patients. Therefore, we are gradually working to introduce a more doctor-led reception where we have more direct contact with our patients instead of our nurses relaying all matters.

We work PAL-led according to date listing, which provides an even workload among us doctors. We strive to provide optimal and individualized care according to the advice of the Swedish Society for General Medicine (SFAM) regarding Wise Clinical Choices. It is also important for us to provide equitable care and for us as a group to work in harmony.

We at Capio Health Center operate under the same premises as the health centers of Region Östergötland. Through employee surveys, we see that what is valued with us compared to other employers is the short decision-making paths, active quality work, and the trust in our employees.

Our quality tool Medrave is also highly appreciated and facilitates simplification in many everyday tasks. An important part of our operations is 100% availability by phone, and both we as doctors and our patients experience great security in this.
